you don’t know: podcast

A podcast series based on our collaborative writing projects. All available episodes can be found below.

Previously each of these podcasts is accompanied by a handmade / bound / drawn print publication but due to other commitments this is unlikely for future episodes.

The series is a space for us to test out ideas. We’re trying to have some fun with our writing again.

The series should be available to download wherever you get your podcasts but if you’re unable to find it within your app of choice then get in touch via the contact page and let us know. (A list of places it already exists can be found at the bottom of this page, along with a press kit.)

Episode 9: He draws himself a bath

We are back after a long break with a new episode! A recording of an essay written by David in response to the METODE project’s second callout, ‘Being, Bathing and Beyond’.

The essay takes place in the bath, and forms a meditation on the themes of grief, memory and portraiture, and how our experiences of bathing tie in.

You can read more about METODE here, and you can read David’s essay from volume two here. Also mentioned is our new project ‘The Spit Bucket’, a boxing fanzine, available here.

bonus: It’s your (basic) footwork

Our second bonus episode; a recording of a collaborative poem/essay we wrote for the new anthology KINETIC, published by the wonderful folk at Colliding Lines.

The writing is based on our experiences trying to learn to control our feet as adults while learning to box.

All of the writing in the anthology has been illustrated by selected visual artists and can be ordered directly from Colliding Lines here.
