
David Turner is a joiner, writer and artist from London. He is the co-editor of the boxing fanzine The Spit Bucket and is the founding producer and former host of the Lunar Poetry Podcasts series. His first (and possibly last) poetry collection Contained was published by Hesterglock Press in 2020. He has represented Norway in snow sculpting competitions.

To celebrate four years of the Lunar Poetry Podcasts series David and Lizzy co-edited 'Why Poetry?', an anthology of poetry by 28 former Lunar guests. The anthology is published by Verve. Click the image to buy.
I founded the Lunar Poetry Podcasts series in October 2014 as a space to encourage discussions around the writing and performing of poetry. I hung around for six years and 125 episodes as producer and host before handing over control to Peter deGraft-Johnson.
